I’m David, a junior studying computer science at The University of Texas at Austin. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, where I ran cross country and played tennis on my high school team. More recently, I’ve gotten into skiing, board games, and exploring the local food scene, trying my best to rate and review my way to Yelp Elite status!
My brother also attended UT Austin, and my father works as a software engineer, so my decision to study at UTCS was a very natural one.
I’ve heard very good things about CS373. Many of my friends have told me that the concepts learned in this course are extremely applicable to industry. I’m hoping that by the end of this semester, I will have learned the techniques and tools to become both a stronger team member and a more-capable software engineer.
